Bio 

John Adams was born in Pensacola, Florida where his father was an officer in the U.S. Navy.  His family eventually settled in Maryland in 1986.  John graduated from Severna Park High School, received his B.A. from Middlebury College and law degree from Washington University in St. Louis.  John has over ten years experience as an attorney.  He was an Assistant State’s Attorney in Baltimore City, he has represented injured workers across the state as well as large corporations as a real estate attorney at Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Pordy & Ecker, PA in Rockville.  John currently practices law at Rollins, Smalkin, Richards & Mackie, LLC in Baltimore.

 

John has had a passion for politics since his early post-college days volunteering for Bill Clinton’s 1992 Presidential campaign.  John founded the ACLU law chapter at Washington University.  At the time John lived in Olney he served as an officer for District 19’s Democratic Club.  John strongly supports the idea that government is a force that can be directed to help people by keeping them healthy, providing necessities, and giving people the opportunity to succeed and achieve a measure of happiness.

 

John is devoted to his wife, Amy, and their daughters, Zara and Scarlett.  They live in Potomac’s River Falls community.
